Description

The basis of the badge is a gold shield in the shape of a rhombus the colouring of which is the same as the ordinary fortress flag: a red background with a light blue cross with thin white edging; between the rays of the light blue cross are the gold dates «1883» and «1913». In the centre of the badge are the gold cyphers of Emperors Alexander III and Nicholas II laid inclined towards one another and beneath the gold Imperial crown. Between the cyphers is a gold wavy ribbon with the black inscription «ВАРШАВА» (WARSAW).
